The International Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico, extends an open invitation for the public to attend the public session of Meeting.01 of the Binational Core Group (BCG) of the Tijuana River Basin (TRB), to be held January 28, 2020, at 10 AM, in Tijuana, Baja CaliforniaUnder Minute 320, signed on October 5, 2015, IBWC noted that governmental and non-governmental organizations in the United States and Mexico are interested in participating in a binational dialogue to identify joint cooperative opportunities on transboundary issues in the Tijuana River Basin. The Binational Core Group (BCG) was established and includes representatives of the Commission, federal, state, and local governments, and non-governmental organizations from both countries that are involved in matters addressed under Minute 320
The BCG-Meeting.01 will mark the consolidation of the structure agreed by the Commission to implement plans and programs aimed at solving, in a comprehensive and long-term manner, the problem of regional transboundary pollution, within the framework of Minute 320.
Please confirm your attendance and/or participation in the public session in advance through the online registration form. The meeting will be conducted in English and Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
Audience participation time will be limited to the 70 minutes total established in the program.
Audience presentations will be made in strict order of occurrence online. Pre-registration for presenters closes 48 hours before the start of the session (January 26, 2020)
